Welcome to the Colt Crew! 

We are so excited to have you with us for the 2026–2027 school year! Whether you're returning or joining us for the first time, you’re now part of a warm, energetic, and dedicated community that works together to make Ola Elementary an incredible place for our students, staff, and families.

Our Colt Crew (PTO) is built on teamwork, service, and school pride. Every voice matters, every helping hand makes a difference, and every moment you give helps strengthen our Colts community.

💚 WHAT COLT CREW DOES 

We support our school through events, celebrations, staff appreciation, student enrichment, and behind‑the‑scenes care. Throughout the year, you’ll see opportunities to:

  • Volunteer at family events and celebrations

  • Support teachers through hospitality, wish lists, and appreciation activities

  • Help with Spirit Wear, Spirit Nights, and school pride initiatives

  • Assist with Book Fairs, student recognitions, and enrichment programs

  • Celebrate bus drivers, custodians, and support staff

🎉 GET INVOLVED 

Whether you have a few minutes or a few hours, there’s a place for you. All volunteer opportunities will be shared through email, social media, our Linktree, and GroupMe so you can easily stay connected.

We already have a few opportunities to get involved - see below & spread the word as we need Colt Crew help! 

  • Stock the Teacher Workroom - https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/18V1B9PA99XPH 

    • We have an Amazon Wish List to stock the teacher workroom so it is easy for community members to simply purchase items and have them shipped directly to the school. If you take a peek and see items that you can pick up while school shopping, please feel free to bring them into the office. This is a great opportunity to show our teachers at OES all the love and appreciation! 

  • Volunteer at the Fall Book Fair - September 21st-25th https://fall2026bookfairvolunteers.cheddarup.com 

    • Help bring the magic of reading to our students! We have a variety of volunteer shifts available and would appreciate any time you can give.

  • Parents Night Out: Nuclear Dodgeball! - Saturday, September 12th | 6-10PM 

    • AIM Martial Arts and McDonough’s BEST Kids is hosting an action-packed evening featuring nuclear dodgeball, martial arts, dancing, pizza, movies, video games, prizes, and more! Give yourself a well-deserved night out while the kids enjoy a safe and exciting event. Proceeds from this event are donated back to the school by this outstanding community partner of ours!
